My Night Time Skin Care Routine

Hello lovelies,

Sorry it has been 2 weeks since I last updated, I have been pretty busy with work and other commitments. Quick update on what's been happening before I get into it. Last weekend I went to Sydney, I'm from Wollongong which is an hour and 30 minutes away Jess and I went there to check out the Benefit BrowBar and can I just say they did an AMAZING job! Then Madyson came to stay with me for a couple of days and yesterday afternoon I went for my driving test and I passed, woohoooo!

Anyway, enough of me boring you let's get into my Night Skin Care Routine. Before I start I just want to say these products may/may not work as well as they do on me. I have combination skin but the products I use can be used for all skin types except for the cleanser. Lets get started;

Step One - Make up wipes

I use the Nivea Refreshing Facial Cleansing Wipes for normal to combination skin. I bought these in a pack of three from Priceline and i'm pretty sure they are still on sale. They are great especially for the price.

Step Two - Cleanser

I use Cetaphil Oily Skin Cleanser, I use this after I have removed my make up with the wipes. This cleanser is amazing! I normally use it two times, the first time to make sure all my make up is removed then the second time to cleanse my face. I have tried the cleanser for all skin types but I find this controls my breakouts and unlike other acne cleansers this doesn't leave my skin feeling extremely dry.

Step Three - Something that feels good

This product is one of my favourites, it has been in my night skin care routine for about 3 weeks now and as soon as I started using it I saw a difference and I'm really keen to check out the rest of their products. The Biore Warming Anti-Blackhead Cleanser feels so good when you put it on your skin, especially on a cold winters night because as soon as you rub it onto your face it starts to heat up. I have noticed that my skin has been a lot more smoother and I have found that a lot of my redness has started to disappear but that could also be due to the product i'm about to talk about next.

Step Four - Tone yo skin

I use the T.N Dickson's Witch Hazel toner for my skin. My mum has been using it for years and when she told me to use it I'd ignore her but I finally came to my senses and added it to my routine (thanks mum). A lot of people ask me why should you use a toner and here is why; it reduces the inflammation on a pimple, shrinks bags under the eyes, improves skin tone and refreshes skin. To read more about it click here.

Step Five - Moisturise

For moisturiser I use the Nivea Pure & Natural Moisturising Day Cream, yes I know it says Day Cream but I use it at night, deal with it. I'm not a huge fan of moisturisers because I hate how they feel on my skin, but since this is a Day cream it's a lot less lighter, it also soaks into my skin and doesn't leave it feeling like an oily mess when I wake up in the morning.

There you have it! All these products can be purchased at Priceline for very affordable prices. Let me know if you use any of these products or if you go buy them, let me know how you like them! I hope those of you on school holidays had a fabulous time and those of you who are in Year 12 good luck with your trials and HSC coming up.
